The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of SQL/Excel experience, familiarity with generative AI, and superb communication skills to partner across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database query languages or 3+ years in financial planning and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Hands-on experience with generative AI to boost productivity and automation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with prioritization and issue escalation.
• Must be located in the US.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide data and analysis to support the unit's mission to deliver quality healthcare insights.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and packages.
• Demonstrate ability to write and modify SQL code to deliver insights from complex data.
• Manage and validate data from multiple sources using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Communicate processes and requirements to business and technical staff.
• Use SQL to identify trends and outliers to inform leadership actions.
• Prepare complex ad hoc reports in SQL and Excel and create new reports as needed.
• Identify efficiencies and opportunities to reduce costs and time.
• Ensure accuracy of premiums through reconciliation reporting.
• Represent the finance team in plan/provider meetings as needed.
• Understand business drivers and market trends and assist project teams as SME.
