Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SQL or other database query languages (Intermediate to Advanced), and/or 3+ years of experience with financial planning and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Hands on experience with generative AI to improve productivity, automate routine tasks, and enhance decision-making
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be located in US
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Prefer degrees in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner with various internal and external shareholders
• Provide data and analysis to support the unit's mission of providing the highest quality healthcare for our members
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, regulatory reports, and financial packages
• Demonstrate ability to create and modify SQL code to deliver insights from complex data
• Manage and validate data from multiple sources using SQL Server Management Studio
• Communicate processes and requirements to business and technical staff
• Utilize SQL to identify and analyze trends for leadership decisions
• Prepare complex ad hoc reports using SQL and Excel
• Streamline processes for efficiency and cost/time savings
• Ensure accuracy of premiums with reconciliation reporting
• Represent the finance team in plan/provider meetings
• Understand business drivers and market trends
• Assist project teams as SME
