Job summary

MANTECH in the United States is seeking a Senior Field Office Technician to support the CASTLE-NET Program remotely. You’ll join an agile team delivering IT infrastructure and end-user support to USACE, with emphasis on on-site deployments to field offices and secure, compliant operations.

The role requires 8+ years in IT/field support, DoD 8140 IAT Level II, and a Secret clearance, plus willingness to travel up to 75% to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field; or 12+ years total experience.
• 8+ years in IT/field support with hardware, software and networking troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Must hold DoD 8140 IAT Level II and Secret clearance before start.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site IT support by deploying to CASTLE-NET program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
• Conducting network performance evaluations, checking conference room equipment, and supporting end-user devices while ensuring compliance with USACE IT policies.
• Planning and leading major technology assignments while evaluating performance results to recommend changes affecting project success.
• Assisting with IT equipment disposal training and supporting onsite personnel with IT issue ticketing and documentation.
• Functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments to deliver world-class IT services and responsive customer support.
• Delivering vital solutions that strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.
• Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all mission requirements while supervising others as required.
