Opus Agency is seeking a Senior Event Manager, Operations, to lead complex, large-scale events and critical workstreams in a remote, salaried role. You will oversee detailed planning, timelines, and vendor coordination, ensuring flawless delivery within budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in event project management, 2–3 years of team leadership, and experience handling events with thousands of attendees. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within the events industry.
• 2-3 years team management experience.
• Experience leading programs or managing complex workstreams at a large scale (5,000-15,000+ attendees in person).
• Bachelor's Degree from four-year institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex workstreams and event logistics for large-scale events (5,000–15,000+ attendees).
• Own detailed operational planning, including timelines, production schedules, run-of-show, and vendor coordination.
• Partner closely with the Project Lead to ensure operational execution aligns with goals and budget.
• Manage vendor relationships within assigned workstreams, including sourcing and communications.
• Track and manage workstream budgets, ensuring expenses are controlled and documented.
• Identify savings opportunities and assist in vendor negotiations to meet budget goals.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and execution across deliverables.
• Proactively resolve logistical challenges in fast-paced environments.
• Drive effective communication within workstreams and with stakeholders.
• Build and manage operational tools and systems to support execution.
