Job summary

Consigli Construction 1 is seeking a senior Estimator in the Estimating division to lead all estimating efforts for large Mission Critical projects, including conceptual estimates, budgets, and value engineering. The role requires deep experience with complex bids and subcontractor relations.

This remote-based position travels to project sites for team and owner meetings as needed, emphasizing collaboration, accuracy, and proactive risk analysis to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years of estimating field experience.
• 10+ years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in specialized estimating software.
• Understanding of market conditions’ influence on pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead all estimating efforts on the most complex and large-scale projects in the Mission Critical market, including conceptual estimates, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies and comparisons, value engineering, subcontractor relations.
• Ensure estimating process runs smoothly and client expectations are exceeded throughout the project duration.
• Build relationships to understand client, designer and subcontractor needs and expectations.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Prepare value engineering and risk analysis.
• Manage Subcontractor solicitation & selection process.
• Prepare an in-house budget and GMP.
