Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer (California PE) to serve as Engineering Lead for remediation projects across the Western USA in a fully remote role. The California office is headquartered in Sacramento, CA.

You will stamp drawings and reports, provide senior technical oversight, and mentor E.I.T.s toward licensure. We seek a CA-licensed PE with 10+ years of environmental consulting and deep remediation expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical engineering.
• Active California PE license required.
• 10+ years environmental consulting or equivalent experience.
• Experience in site remediation and long-term O&M.
• Strong knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, DTSC, RWQCB, SWRCB.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor engineers.
• Excellent writing and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's engineering projects across the Western USA.
• Stamp and seal drawings/reports as California PE.
• Design, implement, and optimize remediation systems.
• Provide senior QA/QC on calculations and designs.
• Mentor E.I.T.s and junior staff toward licensure.
• Collaborate with PMs, geologists, and field staff.
• Interface with clients and regulators to support projects.
• Help define strategic technical direction and evaluate remediation tech.
