Job summary

EverHire is seeking an Environmental Remediation Engineer (Project Manager) in the Sacramento area to lead remediation and SPCC projects from investigation through design, implementation and closeout, while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires a California PE, 10+ years in environmental remediation, and a track record with remedial technologies. Hybrid work with periodic office attendance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental remediation.
• Experience leading remediation design and implementation.
• California PE license required; PG a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental, Civil, or related engineering.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead remediation and SPCC projects from start to finish.
• Support site investigations to define contamination extent.
• Write remediation plans and feasibility studies.
• Design remediation systems, including in-situ treatment and vapor mitigation.
• Oversee remediation activities and review O&M data for performance.
• Review and certify SPCC plans.
• Manage budgets and schedules.
• Build relationships with clients, regulators and subcontractors.
• Mentor EITs and junior engineers.
