Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a hands-on leader for the Data & Cloud Platform function within the AI organization. You will own the data and infrastructure foundation that enables AI platform capabilities and product teams to move fast and scale safely.

The role blends cloud platform engineering with data responsibilities: building a unified data access layer, managing agent memory and context systems, and shaping the ongoing data strategy across the company.

Qualifications

• You have 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership experience.
• Experience building and operating shared platform and data systems across multiple teams.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and developer platforms.
• Proven ability to design APIs and data integration layers for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the data and cloud foundation for the AI organization and platform services.
• Design a unified data access layer for agents and AI features.
• Define storage patterns and data strategy across teams and datasets.
• Build and operate ETL/ELT pipelines for AI workloads and analytics.
• Shape scalable, cost-effective, and maintainable data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Governance, and product partners to ensure safe access patterns.
• Provide patterns and reusable services to migrate teams to shared foundations.
• Hire, mentor, and grow the data/platform team over time.
