Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cloud & Platform Engineering manager to lead a greenfield data platform build. You will mentor engineers, manage JIRA boards, and drive cloud infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD initiatives from a hands-on leadership position.

The role combines architecture and implementation work, with emphasis on greenfield tooling, security, and scalable data products for AI/ML workloads. Fully remote in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in platform & infrastructure management.
• 2+ years in leadership managing teams of 4–8.
• Strong cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and automation skills.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms and tooling.
