Job summary

Upbound is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Management Plane and its four surfaces—Hub, Console, Marketplace, and middleware—driving the architectural direction and ensuring unified customer experiences across Upbound Cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will manage senior engineers, grow the team, establish reliability standards, and partner with Product, Design, GTM, Finance, and Customer Success to translate enterprise needs into platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineers directly.
• Experience building and operating multi-tenant SaaS products at scale.
• Strong API design fundamentals, including versioning and backward compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term technical direction for Hub, Console, Marketplace, and middleware; ensure a single coherent experience.
• Lead senior ICs and tech leads; grow the team against the roadmap and establish production excellence.
• Drive architectural direction for multi-tenant identity and access management and for pricing/billing systems.
