Job summary

11:11 Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, build, and scale an AI-powered Applications and Integrations Modernization solution. This full-time, remote role is based in the United States and reports to the Director of Software Engineering – Frontend.

You will modernize legacy applications and integrations, leverage AI tools like Copilot and Claude, and design scalable, reusable frameworks aligned with business needs. Strong cloud expertise and Agile practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in large-scale cloud or application and integrations modernization programs.
• Strong expertise in cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure).
• Hands-on exposure to AI-driven software modernization tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer toolchains (GitHub, automation pipelines, quality tooling).
• Experience in integrations architecture, design, development, and support using Mulesoft ESB or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP, and ITSM integrations.
• Experience with SQL, J2EE/Web Services, REST, XML, JSON.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize a modernization framework for transforming applications and integrations.
• Build scalable, reusable architectures for enterprise transformations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams from strategy to delivery.
• Provide architectural input for estimation and project delivery.
• Support the tech stack with timely production support and escalation handling.
• Promote AI-first approaches and lean principles across projects.
