The ideal candidate has the California Bar and 2+ years of employment law experience, with strong litigation and legal writing skills to handle matters from inception through resolution, including depositions and court appearances. Salary ranges from $250,000 to $350,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• 2+ years of employment law experience (plaintiff-side preferred; defense experience ok).
• Strong litigation and legal writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent employees in employment law matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
• Handle wage and hour disputes, leave and accommodation issues.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution; draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions; court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
