Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Employee Benefits. Remote work is available with Eastern/Central Time Zone alignment; some on-site presence may be required near branch locations.

You will lead benefits accounts, supervise Account Coordinators, and drive service quality, renewals, and client education. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry, active licensing, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Active licensing required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making abilities
• High accuracy in handling large workloads
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance targets are met
• Deliver outstanding client service, anticipate needs, and respond promptly
• Lead the account team and coordinate daily tasks of Account Coordinators
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business
• Oversee new business setup including data gathering, file creation, and notifications
• Manage renewals by verifying data, liaising with clients and carriers, and auditing processes
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and advocate for clients and carriers
