Job summary

24-MAG LLC seeks experienced electronics quality engineers for remote consulting on PCB CAM review, Gerber analysis, and IPC inspection. You will assess assembly quality, analyze defects, and determine counterfeit risks for AI training and evaluation projects.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in electronics quality, CAM engineering, or failure analysis, with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 familiarity, and the ability to document findings clearly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on electronics quality, CAM engineering, or failure analysis.
• Experience with PCB assembly, wire harnesses, or semiconductor packaging.

Responsibilities

• Review PCB CAM and Gerber files for manufacturability and quality.
• Evaluate layouts against IPC quality requirements and identify issues.
• Analyse SMT/AOI data to distinguish true defects from false calls.
• Assess counterfeit-risk indicators and apply AS6081 screening rules.
• Prepare technical reports with concise conclusions and recommendations.
