Job summary

NEPSE Trading is seeking a Senior Electronics Quality Engineer to join as a contractor. The expert will review PCB CAM and Gerber data, conduct IPC-A-610/IPC-620 inspections, analyze SMT/AOI defects, and lead counterfeit screening per AS6081.

Experience with C-SAM and X-ray tooling is required, with strong reporting skills. This role is remote (US-based preferred) and focuses on high-quality, real-world input for AI datasets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on electronics quality experience in PCB assembly, wiring, or semiconductor packaging.

Responsibilities

• Review PCB CAM and Gerber data for manufacturability, quality and standards compliance.
• Perform IPC-A-610 and IPC-620 visual inspections and provide feedback.
• Analyze SMT/AOI defect types and root causes to remediate false calls.
• Conduct counterfeit component screening per AS6081 and mitigate risks.
• Perform advanced semiconductor inspections using C-SAM and X-ray imaging; verify MIL-STD-883 compliance.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
