Job summary

Plan B Climatech is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support mission critical data centers in a fully remote role across the United States. You will develop electrical designs, perform calculations, and create construction documents with AutoCAD and Revit while coordinating with project management and clients.

The position offers autonomy, collaboration, and opportunities to apply new digital tools, stay current with industry standards, and travel up to ~10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of building electrical systems: power distribution (single/three phase), lighting and controls, grounding, and life safety systems.
• Experience with technical design tools — short circuit/arc flash studies, equipment sizing, underground feeder and lighting calculations
• Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills
• Comfortable interpreting codes to guide equipment and wiring selection

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings and technical visuals using AutoCAD and Revit
• Draft and review sequences of operation
• Perform electrical system calculations and analysis
• Collaborate with project team to deliver construction documents and specifications
• Support construction administration lifecycle and client communications
