James Gray Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead data center design projects. This fully remote U.S. role offers $200,000–$250,000 base plus benefits. You will drive master planning through commissioning, guiding multidisciplinary teams on mission-critical facilities.

The ideal candidate brings a PE license, 10+ years in data centers, and expert AutoCAD/Revit skills, with travel ~20% for site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of data center projects from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Develop power distribution and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments.
• Produce designs using AutoCAD and Revit across conceptual, schematic, and detailed stages.
• Mentor electrical engineers and designers across disciplines.
• Prepare specifications, bid packages, and review submittals.
• Perform due diligence studies, cost analyses, and total cost of ownership assessments.
• Conduct power system studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash).
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs, develop proposals, and support business development.
• Support commissioning to ensure designs perform as intended.
