Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of HSE experience in heavy manufacturing or production environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and compliance management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Proven coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills with cross-functional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site HSSE function aligned with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Create and implement health, safety, security, and environmental strategies focused on risk reduction, prevention, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide coaching, guidance, and HSSE support across the facility.
• Drive incident investigation, near-miss reporting, and organizational learning processes with a non-punitive reporting culture.
• Monitor performance through audits, inspections, and data analysis to strengthen site-wide HSSE initiatives.
