Job summary

Advarra, Inc. is seeking a Sr Editor, Consent Form Development to support the IRB Services department in reviewing submissions and preparing informed consent forms for human subjects research. The role may mentor new editors and handle assigned projects as directed by management.

The position is open to candidates working remotely within the United States and requires 2+ years of technical writing/editing experience, plus strong editing of consent-related documents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical/medical writing or editing experience.
• Experience writing or editing consent forms or research documents.
• Proficiency with Word processing and tracked changes/compare-merge.
• Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint, Slack and remote meeting tools.
• Ability to read, interpret and edit complex clinical documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-review of new and revised consent forms to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Edit consent forms to align with regulatory standards and Advarra SOPs.
• Incorporate sponsor/site language into consent documents as required by agreements.
• Collaborate with Board members and staff to implement edits from stakeholders.
• Perform informed consent quality control checks and mentor new editors.
