Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience editing content for an institutional finance audience.
• Exceptional editing and writing skills with strong grammar, syntax and style.
• Ability to distill complex topics into engaging content for professional audiences.
• Experience editing across formats including web, email, and social media.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and investing concepts.
• Proficiency with CMS, Google Suite, Tableau, and project tools like Asana.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing best practices.
• Experience with data visualization and incorporating charts/graphs into content.

Responsibilities

• Edit content for clarity, tone, voice, grammar, and style to ensure polish and professionalism.
• Refine and rework existing content to improve readability, flow, and engagement.
• Proofread for errors in grammar, punctuation, and formatting to maintain quality.
• Write copy, briefs, abstracts, headlines, summaries for content promotion.
• Partner with writers to develop thought leadership content and ghostwrite when needed.
• Coach writers to improve pieces and provide actionable feedback.
• Ensure content aligns with AlphaSense brand voice and guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to convey product value through content.
• Coordinate with design to incorporate data visuals for credibility.
• Stay current on market trends to improve content relevance and quality.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on data.
• Assist with managing the editorial calendar and maintaining workflow guides.
