Job summary

AlphaSense invites applications for a Senior Editor to shape Research and Thought Leadership content across reports, articles and technical pieces. You will edit, write, and refine material for an institutional audience, ensuring accuracy, tone, and credibility while collaborating with writers and stakeholders across marketing and product teams.

You’ll also help manage editorial calendars, align content with campaigns, and incorporate data visuals to support insights.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience editing content for an institutional finance audience.
Exceptional editing and writing skills, with grammar, syntax, and style mastery.
Ability to distill complex topics into digestible, engaging content for professional audiences.
Experience editing across formats and channels, including web, email, and social media.
Solid understanding of financial markets and investing concepts.
Collaboration with writers, editors, marketers, designers, engineers, and SMEs.

Responsibilities

Edit content for clarity, tone, voice, grammar, and style.
Refine and rework existing content to improve readability and engagement.
Proofread for errors in grammar and formatting with high quality.
Write copy, briefs, abstracts, headlines, summaries for content promotion.
Partner with writers to develop thought leadership content; ghostwrite if needed.
Coach writers to improve pieces and apply feedback.
