Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Project Manager to lead development and enhancement of e‑commerce platforms. This fully remote role oversees end-to-end projects from planning to deployment, partnering with product, design, development, and marketing teams to drive innovation and improve the online customer experience.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in e‑commerce, strong Agile expertise, and a proven track record delivering complex digital projects in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager focused on e-commerce platform development.
• Proven track record delivering complex digital projects in remote environments.
• Deep knowledge of e-commerce technologies and platforms (Shopify, Magento, or custom builds).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana) and collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of e-commerce platform development projects.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively in a remote setting.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA testers, and marketing specialists.
• Implement and manage Agile/Scrum methodologies for project development and delivery.
• Ensure the successful integration of new features, functionalities, and third-party services.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Communicate project status, progress, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Drive user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) improvements for the e-commerce platform.
• Ensure the platform meets performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
