Zusammenfassung

DigitalOcean is seeking a Senior Software Engineer 1 to join the DNS Products team, building APIs and control plane software at scale. You’ll write code, troubleshoot, and help own product offerings end-to-end, contributing to quality, performance, and reliability for our developer community.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, design robust services, deploy on Linux hosts, and work with Go, Kubernetes, Kafka, and gRPC to ship mission-critical features that power cloud and AI

Qualifikationen

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent required.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems and APIs.
Strong Go programming skills and unit testing.
Experience deploying Linux (Ubuntu) based hosts and cloud-native stacks.
Familiarity with DNS and Networking concepts preferred.

Aufgaben

Implement, test, and optimize new services that run at scale and address performance and monitoring challenges.
Collaborate with Networking teams to build next-gen developer-facing products and services.
Support existing products and contribute innovative solutions to pain points.
Improve tooling and processes to ship robust, mission-critical ecosystem components.
Help establish best practices for development and architecture.
