Qualifications

• Significant experience leading a regulatory affairs, compliance, or regulatory operations function, ideally within insurance or catastrophe modeling.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. state insurance regulatory frameworks and Lloyd's/EIOPA-regulatory regimes.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, client-facing guidance at scale.
• Senior leadership experience across distributed teams and setting organizational priorities.
• Strong executive presence and cross-functional influence with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute global strategy for obtaining and maintaining regulatory approvals for Moody's insurance model products across regions.
• Provide guidance, documentation, and collateral for regulatory compliance (rate filings, interrogatories, regulator questionnaires).
• Serve as senior escalation point for high-impact regulatory issues and remove roadblocks to product adoption/expansion.
• Set direction for managing priority regulatory relationships (Florida, Lloyd's, NAIC COE, state DOIs).
• Partner with product, engineering, and client success to embed regulatory requirements in roadmap and materials.
• Collaborate with Government/PR to align regulatory enablement with enterprise strategy.
• Represent the function to Insurance operating unit leadership with updates on approvals, filings, outcomes, and staffing.
