Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Senior Director, PMO to lead the Enterprise PMO and deliver strategic initiatives with disciplined execution. You will oversee PMO standards, governance, resource prioritization, and reporting, guiding a high‑performing team of project managers and partnering with executive leadership.

Remote-based in the US, preferably ET/CT time zones, you will ensure initiatives move from concept to execution with clear governance, proactive risk management, and measurable business outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading large-scale projects, programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives.
• 5+ years leading project managers, PMO teams, or transformation organizations.
• Experience building or leading a Project Management Office.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise PMO function: vision, strategy, operating model and governance.
• Manage project portfolio and strategic prioritization with executive alignment.
• Lead and develop project managers; establish standards for leadership, communication, and execution.
• Provide executive governance and strategic alignment across initiatives.
• Drive strategic initiative execution with clear objectives, milestones and ownership.
• Develop PMO metrics and reporting to track portfolio health and business impact.
