OneStream Software is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams responsible for core product capabilities and scalable architecture. You will drive technical direction, ensure reliability, and partner with Product, Platform, Quality, Security, and CloudOps to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in software engineering and 8+ years leading multi-team organizations, with a focus on CPM/ERM or finance-related SaaS platforms.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with 8+ years leading multi-team engineering organizations
• Demonstrated success leading platform, infrastructure, or foundational architecture teams
• Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems, cloud platforms, service design, and platform operating models
• Proven ability to hire and grow high-performing engineering leaders and teams
• Strong stakeholder management and strategic alignment skills

Responsibilities

• Drive the Engineering strategy and roadmap aligned to business outcomes
• Partner with Product to deliver scalable product capabilities with clear architecture
• Establish and communicate priorities based on impact, risk, cost, and productivity
• Lead execution across multiple teams with focus on predictable delivery and quality
• Build a culture of disciplined software engineering and release management
• Ensure high-quality platform APIs, service contracts, and versioning
• Collaborate with SRE/CloudOps to improve incident response and reliability
• Ensure security-by-default and compliance across the stack
• Champion secure SDLC, vulnerability management, and identity models
• Enhance internal developer experience with tooling, CI/CD modernization, and automation
• Reduce friction for product teams by building scalable tooling and abstractions
• Manage technical debt and modernization for long-term maintainability
• Lead and grow Engineering Directors and staff engineers
• Develop hiring, onboarding, retention, and succession plans
• Foster accountability, trust, learning, and engineering rigor
• Collaborate with Product/Quality/UX/Support for customer impact
• Communicate roadmap, risks, and strategy to executives
