Job summary

Evolent Health, Inc. seeks a Senior Director, Strategy and Program Development to lead oncology strategy and drive new program initiatives from concept to pilot.

The role monitors market and competitor trends, shapes multi-year roadmaps, and partners with Product, Growth and Operations to deliver scalable solutions while ensuring value realization for the organization and patients. This senior leader will influence external and internal stakeholders, oversee program governance, and advocate for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of healthcare management and/or healthcare consulting experience.
• Strong strategy skills.
• Comfort in shepherding new ideas from design to conception.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
• Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an external view of market, competitor, payer, regulatory, and oncology care-delivery trends.
• Run internal gap assessments of the oncology product against market needs and current performance.
• Build and refresh the 18-24 month oncology strategy and roadmap.
• Shape and launch a small number of priority new programs from concept through pilot; demonstrate proof of value.
• Lead a build / buy / partner assessment in collaboration with Product.
• Lead early-stage partner conversations and diligence with Growth/BD, who own contracting and close.
• Define pilot design, success criteria, and go/no-go decision points; hand off proven programs to Implementation, Product, Performance, and Operations for scaled delivery.
