Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a Senior Director of Corporate Development to shape growth through M&A, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. Reporting to the SVP, you will lead transactions, build financial models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive corporate strategy.

The role requires 12+ years in corporate strategy or related fields, pharma/lifesciences experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven track record of leading complex deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, life sciences, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, business development, M&A, or related field.
• Global lifesciences experience required; pharmaceutical background preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; excellent PowerPoint abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to create and execute long-range strategic plans aligned with vision, mission, and goals.
• Source, evaluate and execute M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and integration oversight.
• Build financial models and business cases to evaluate investments and strategic value.
• Manage external advisors during transaction processes.
• Assess portfolio optimization including divestitures and asset rationalization.
• Lead development and implementation of corporate strategy and growth initiatives.
• Identify KPIs and establish metrics to measure long-range initiative success.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and monitor competitor developments.
• Advise senior leadership and act as a thought partner across business decisions.
