Job summary
Optum is seeking a Senior Director, Compensation Strategy (Provider & Care Delivery) to lead compensation strategy across Optum Health Care Delivery. This remote role in the U.S.
partners with the People Team and senior leaders to shape pay programs for clinicians, providers, and care delivery professionals. You will design, advise, and govern compensation initiatives, analyzing data to improve market competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in design and consulting.
- Strong expertise in compensation strategy, market analysis, incentive design, and total rewards.
Responsibilities
- Lead as the compensation strategy partner for Optum Health Care Delivery organizations.
- Partner with senior executives to develop and execute compensation strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Design and advise on provider, physician, and care delivery compensation programs.
- Lead complex compensation initiatives from strategy through governance and implementation.
- Analyze healthcare, clinical, workforce, and financial data to assess compensation effectiveness.
- Develop compensation models that support productivity, performance, and business objectives.
