Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in scalable distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AWS (S3, SNS, SES, API Gateway), Kubernetes, ArgoCD.
• Experience with Python, Ruby, Node, PHP, .NET.
• Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL.
• Familiar with queueing systems (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka) and monitoring (Datadog).
• Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, security and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams to influence cross-technical & business decisions and align engineering with company goals.
• Expand to cross-functional oversight and shape strategy at a higher level.
• Align engineering with the product roadmap by collaborating with product leadership and identifying dependencies.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to meet key objectives and resolve obstacles.
• Provide technical direction for architectural decisions, ensuring scalable, secure systems.
• Drive proactive resolution of high-priority technical issues and minimize business impact.
• Plan for backup, failover, and disaster recovery across platforms.
