Lightspeed Commerce in the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Agentic Engineering to lead the platform and operating model that enables AI agents across the product lifecycle. You will turn rapidly evolving agentic technology into secure, reusable capabilities and drive adoption through multi-team collaboration, governance, and continuous improvement in product quality and velocity.

• 15+ years of experience leading software engineering teams or equivalent.
• Defining and scaling internal platforms or developer platforms in a complex multi-product environment.
• Experience building AI-enabled and agentic systems, including model orchestration and observability.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, design, data, security, and legal.
• Leading organizational change across distributed teams with scalable adoption.
• Strong standards for architecture, security, and cost management.
• Clear communication of complex concepts to executives and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for agentic engineering.
• Build and lead teams responsible for shared agentic platform capabilities.
• Create an extensible platform that enables product teams to adopt agentic workflows.
• Partner with business units to launch high-value use cases and scale patterns.
• Establish evaluation systems for agent performance, security, and cost.
• Embed responsible AI, data protection, and risk management into the platform by design.
• Define operating model, ownership boundaries, and enablement mechanisms.
• Drive adoption and change across a global organization.

Formação

Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field
