Job summary

SpearTip, the cybersecurity consulting arm of Zurich Resilience Solutions, seeks a Senior Incident Response DFIR Consultant to lead external engagements and deliver forensic investigations for urgent security incidents. Remote within the U.S. with up to 5% travel, you’ll guide containment, recovery, and client communications.

You’ll present strategic findings to executives, mentor junior staff, and coordinate across IT, legal, and insurance teams to protect client interests and drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related field (5+ years of related experience acceptable)
• Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice option with Cyber Security Certification and 6+ years in cyber security
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 7+ years in cyber security

Responsibilities

• Lead external incident response engagements and digital forensics investigations
• Provide 24/7 incident response capabilities remotely within the U.S.
• Deliver executive-level briefings and client-facing reports
• Coordinate with IT, legal, insurance, and law enforcement stakeholders
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure quality client deliverables
• Maintain thorough case documentation and time tracking
• Support business development and client proposals
