Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) seeks a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to lead automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC across multiple environments in support of mission-critical software development.

You will implement security controls, manage containers and virtualization, and partner with development teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems while maintaining documentation and compliance with security clearances.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical degree or relevant certifications and 9+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps roles.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, IT or Security automation for multiple teams.
• Strong Linux experience and knowledge of private/hybrid cloud design and operation.
• Familiarity with VMware environments, Kubernetes, containerization, automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Ability to document DevSecOps processes and maintain system diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain automation deployment and monitoring scripts.
• Develop and maintain security controls and systems.
• Manage virtualized and containerized assets and networks.
• Design, test, and deploy applications in enterprise virtualized/containerized environments.
• Automate configuration and deployment of systems across environments.
• Document performance, processes, and platform improvements.
• Collaborate with developers to assess changes impacting testing and development processes.
• Train others and evangelize DevSecOps best practices.
