Job summary

Fuze Health seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead security across infrastructure, apps, and CI/CD. Architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP, define guardrails, and automate governance with policy-as-code.

You will mentor engineers, drive security in the development lifecycle, and align with HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST. A strong cloud and container focus with DevSecOps ownership from early-stage to scale is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software, infra, or security engineering with DevSecOps.
• Deep cloud experience in AWS and/or GCP.
• Design and secure containerized/Kubernetes environments.
• IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding.
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Ruby; DevSecOps ownership from early-stage to scale.
• Background in SRE or platform engineering; security certs welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead DevSecOps vision across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems in AWS/GCP.
• Set patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated governance.
• Enforce network segmentation, zero-trust, and isolation.
• Support HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST alignment; mentor engineers.
• Influence leadership on security strategy and risk prioritization.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Product, IT, Compliance.
