Job summary

Maximus seeks an IT Senior Architect - DevSecOps to lead enterprise DevSecOps architecture, platform governance, and secure software delivery across 1,000+ government programs. Role focuses on Jenkins Shared Libraries, Groovy, Terraform, and Crossplane-driven infrastructure, with emphasis on security controls and compliance in fed/regulated environments.

The position is remote and demands strong leadership across VP-level peers, with responsibility for platform adoption and standardized delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years IT experience with 5+ years in senior DevSecOps/architecture roles.
United States Citizenship required; eligible for security clearance.
Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins; enterprise Jenkins Shared Libraries in Groovy.
Experience managing artifact repos (Artifactory/Nexus) and cloud resources via IaC.

Responsibilities

Define reference architectures and guardrails for the enterprise DevSecOps platform.
Lead security integration in CI/CD pipelines and implement policy-gated releases.
Collaborate with governance bodies and mentor engineers across teams.
