Job summary

Eiden Systems Consulting (ESC) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with an active Secret clearance to lead DevOps strategy, CI/CD architecture, cloud deployments, automation, and Agile practices for large federal programs. The role is primarily remote with periodic onsite support at Fort Belvoir, VA and other NCR locations.

Responsibilities include shaping DevOps strategy, implementing Scrum/Agile for large-scale clients, and building automated SDLC toolchains across cloud and on‑prem

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience defining Scrum for large-scale organizations.
• 5+ years DevOps, software delivery, or systems engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated SDLC toolchains.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google/OpenStack).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt/TFS Azure DevOps).
• Experience with containerization (Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell or similar.
• Active Secret Clearance with IT-II eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps strategy, architecture, automation, and CI/CD.
• Define and implement Scrum/Agile methodologies for large-scale clients.
• Develop and maintain automated SDLC toolchains.
• Support deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, and on-premises.
• Implement TDD, DevSecOps, and automated testing practices.
• Engineer and support complex technology implementations in product-centric environments.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using scripting and programming.
• Implement configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, OpenShift, LXC, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, cybersecurity teams, and program stakeholders.
