Job summary

Bitesight is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team in a remote US-East setting. You will operate, scale, and secure our SaaS cloud infrastructure, driving reliability and efficiency across services.

Experience with Linux, containers, cloud providers, and IaC is essential. You will design complex systems, automate with AI-assisted tooling, and mentor engineers while aligning work with customer needs and ROI considerations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps/Operations engineer in a SaaS environment.
• Strong Linux experience and automation scripting (Bash/Python).
• Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• IaC with Terraform and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery with governance and ROI focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, scale, and troubleshoot SaaS cloud infrastructure with focus on reliability, efficiency, and security.
• Design system-level solutions, anticipate performance and scalability issues, and guide multi-team decisions.
• Pioneer AI-enabled infrastructure automation with rigorous validation and ROI measurement.
• Collaborate to break down complex problems and mentor engineers on design and best practices.
