Placements24 seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a rapidly growing SaaS company with a fully remote team. You will design, automate, and scale CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code to support fast development cycles across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

As a senior engineer, you will drive best practices in monitoring, security, and incident response, collaborating with development teams in a remote-first culture and continuously improving cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infra role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Experience with microservices architectures is a plus.
