Job summary

Universal Background Screening is seeking a Senior Development Manager to own production support for Orion during US hours. You will diagnose issues via logs, metrics, and code, then drive fixes with global teams.

You will grow US engineering capability to support Orion end to end from the United States. You will mentor engineers, define the support model, and ensure delivery in two-week sprints with strong code quality and incident management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in people leadership.
• Strong production debugging and root-cause analysis in distributed, cloud-hosted systems.
• Proficient in C#/.NET (6+) and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL (MySQL/SQL Server) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and root-cause analysis for Orion in US hours.
• Lead and mentor US-based engineers and build US support capabilities.
• Define, prioritize and deliver features with Product and Scrum teams.
• Ensure high-quality releases with runbooks, documentation, and incident post-mortems.
• Drive strong architecture knowledge and cross-team collaboration across time zones.
