Job summary

Doral Renewables LLC seeks a Senior Development Manager or Director of Development to lead utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from prospecting to development. Remote position with up to 30% travel, reporting to SVP of Development.

You will identify new opportunities using data-driven methods, manage land acquisitions, permitting, environmental studies and stakeholder engagement, and coordinate with engineering, finance, marketing, and operations to maximize project value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred.
• 4+ years of project development experience in utility-scale renewable energy.
• Experience leading permitting processes for renewable energy projects.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify new prospective utility-scale projects using data-driven approaches.
• Represent Doral to landowners and officials.
• Manage all aspects of project development including land acquisitions, permitting, environmental studies, hearings, stakeholder relations.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, marketing, construction, transmission, legal and operations to manage risks and value.
• Create and manage project budgets and schedules, acting as project lead and coordinating consultants.
