Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a digital technology manager to guide the digital health and delivery of complex projects. You will shape BIM/VDC strategies, manage data exchanges, and ensure interoperability across design and construction teams from pursuit through delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in A/E/C, a degree in a related field, and expertise in Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Insight tools, with leadership for large programs. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the digital realm of the A/E/C industry with project phases from design through construction/close out.
• Prior experience in BIM management, VDC coordination for large programs or projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to train others in BIM delivery and use.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead project-specific digital strategies encompassing BIM, VDC, data management, and technology integration from pursuit through delivery.
• Develop and review BIM Execution Plans and digital deliverables; escalate conflicts to Design Technology and Legal teams as needed.
• Identify and own project digital requirements, including BIM strategies and data exchange protocols.
• Establish and oversee model management frameworks for large programs with audits and performance metrics.
• Lead digital coordination meetings with clients and consultants to ensure interoperable workflows.
