Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to lead the structural design of precast concrete structures for diverse projects, with remote work flexibility. You will manage design, analysis, shop drawing reviews, and customer communications to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions.

You will use AutoCAD, MathCAD, and RISA-3D among other tools, ensuring adherence to IBC, PCI, AISC, and related standards. Regular travel to Salt Lake City, UT and Caldwell, ID is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with Civil/Structural emphasis; Master’s preferred.
• PE registration with multi-state eligibility is desirable.
• Experience in precast concrete, reinforced concrete, and steel is required; prestressed/precast design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design, submission, and project management for precast structures and components.
• Perform structural analysis and design to comply with codes (IBC, ASCE7, ACI 318; PCI, AISC).
• Review shop drawings and submittals; address non-conformances.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and field teams; support customers and design consultants.
