Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to lead structural design and analysis of precast concrete systems, including connections, reinforcement, and erection calculations, while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include project management, shop drawing reviews, and collaboration with sales and production, with travel to Salt Lake City and Caldwell as needed; remote work option is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in precast concrete, reinforced concrete, and steel design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration and ability to register in multiple states.
• Familiarity with IBC, ASCE7, ACI318, PCI, AISC, AWS codes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MathCAD, Concise, and RISA-3D.
• Willingness to travel to Salt Lake City, UT and Caldwell, ID.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of structural designs, shop drawings, and non-conformance resolutions.
• Perform analysis and design of precast structures and connections per codes.
• Collaborate with sales, clients, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, drafters, estimators, and production personnel.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance in all tasks.
