Zusammenfassung

Vistrada is seeking a Senior DBT/Snowflake Developer to design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines in Snowflake and dbt for financial, tax, and revenue analytics. This fully remote role aligns to Eastern Time hours and requires extensive experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, and BI.

You will work with finance, tax, and audit stakeholders to deliver auditable, governed data. The position emphasizes data modeling, governance, and scalable ELT pipelines with Tableau

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI roles, including 3+ years building production dbt models on Snowflake.
• Working understanding of financial data, tax and revenue reporting, and internal control environments (e.g., SOX).
• Advanced SQL skills with deep Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau experience.
• Strong data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data quality practices.
• Collaborative translation of requirements; detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Proactive in simplifying workflows and providing analytics support to business teams.
• Data governance, lineage, documentation, and controls to ensure trust.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models in Snowflake for financial, tax, and revenue data.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines and automate data extraction from source systems.
• Build and support Tableau dashboards and certified data sources for finance and tax stakeholders.
• Support close processes by delivering accurate datasets, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Provide data, documentation, and historical/point-in-time extracts for audits.
• Implement SOX-aligned controls including testing and access governance.
• Establish data lineage, documentation, and automated quality tests.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and provide analytics support to finance teams.
• Monitor Snowflake performance and troubleshoot pipelines with root cause analysis.
• Document data models and processes; manage multiple projects end-to-end.
• Communicate technical details effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
