Job summary

Vistrada LLC is seeking a Senior dbt/Snowflake Developer to design, build, and maintain data transformation pipelines in Snowflake and dbt, supporting financial, tax, and revenue analytics for clients. This fully remote role aligns to Eastern Time, and requires collaboration with finance, tax, and audit stakeholders.

You will own end-to-end pipelines, implement SOX controls, develop Tableau dashboards, and ensure data quality, lineage, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering/BI roles with 3+ years building dbt models on Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills with Snowflake, dbt, Tableau experience.
• Knowledge of financial, tax, and revenue reporting and SOX controls.
• Experience in data modeling (dimensional/star schema) and ELT design.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to streamline workflows and provide analytics support to finance and tax teams.
• Commitment to data governance, lineage, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models in Snowflake for financial, tax, and revenue data.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines and automate data extraction from source systems.
• Build and support Tableau dashboards and certified data sources for finance, tax, and accounting stakeholders.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close with accurate datasets and reconciliations.
• Provide data, documentation, and historical extracts for audits.
• Implement SOX-aligned controls and maintain data lineage and data quality tests.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and provide analytics support.
• Monitor Snowflake performance and cost, troubleshoot pipelines and models.
