Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven expertise managing and maintaining Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with database design and architecture.
• Proficiency in backups, recovery, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience with monitoring tools and query optimization.
• Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare data security a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade DBMS systems and components.
• Create and manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures).
• Monitor and optimize database performance and tuning.
• Develop backup and recovery strategies and perform drills.
• Enforce database security policies and manage user access.
• Collaborate with developers and IT staff to resolve database issues.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and processes.
