Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Database Administrator for a fully remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The candidate will manage Oracle and SQL Server systems, optimize performance, and implement security and DR procedures.

Ideal applicants have 8+ years in DB administration, with Oracle/SQL Server expertise and HIPAA-aware practices. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance are required, and this is a W-2, full-time remote position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Expert in Oracle and SQL Server architecture, tuning, backup, and security.
• Experience with PL/SQL programming and query optimization.
• Ability to design scalable database systems in healthcare/EDI context.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and upgrade DBMS.
• Design and manage tables, indexes, views, and procedures.
