Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional database administration experience, preferably with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience in database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security management.
• Ability to design and optimize database architectures and write complex SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade DBMS systems and manage database objects.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing.
• Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery plans.
• Enforce database security policies and manage user access and permissions.
• Collaborate with developers and sysadmins to resolve database issues.
• Maintain documentation and operational manuals for DB configurations.
