Job summary
Enterprise Mobility is seeking an Engineer 2, DBA/ETL to support the claims management lifecycle with database health, data movement, and pipelines across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and tools like SAS DI and IBM Workload Scheduler. The role requires on-call rotation and collaboration with application teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data operations.
The position offers remote work within the United States (excluding Alaska/Hawaii) with occasional on-site meetings in St. Louis.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an Oracle DBA or related role
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard
- Experience with Unix scripting
- SQL expertise in Oracle, Teradata, and IBM Workload Scheduler
Responsibilities
- Implement and support patching coordination and backup/recovery procedures for PROD and NON-PROD environments
- Assist with Data Guard implementation and support tasks
- Review application-driven database changes for performance, security, and recoverability
- Develop understanding of data models and assist troubleshooting and change review
- Monitor database health, performance, and capacity; respond to alerts
- Support release cycles, database patching, upgrades, and restore validation
- Manage user access and data security practices; on-call rotation every 2 weeks
