Qualifications

• Significant Senior DBA-level experience designing and implementing enterprise data repositories with Oracle on-prem and cloud databases.
• Hands-on experience developing fully automated ETL processes from varied sources.
• Experience using API calls to automate data refreshes and data movement.
• Proficient with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for analytics workloads.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills to develop complex procedures, functions, views, and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a daily subject‑matter expert for Oracle technologies and toolsets for MDOT and MaineIT.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain automated DB processes and data pipelines from multiple sources.
• Research and resolve database issues; collaborate with MDOT IT staff and vendors.
• Create architectural diagrams and system documentation; mentor junior staff.
